Subject	Is it true that stock 300ZX Spoilers ROTT?!

Message	My spoiler seems to be having some paint lifting from it, and I am pretty certain it hasn't been repainted before. Will it start to corrode and rott away soon? If it is true that the spoiler can rott, what are tell tale signs, and how much longer might it last? What are the causes?(too much sun, oxidation, rain?)
